“Compared to actors, I have better relationship with actresses. I think it because of my lively personality and I love to joke therefore actresses seem to like me better.” Lee Dong Wook explained the reason why after every drama filming, there are scandals between him and the actress.

At the ‘Partners’ filming scene on the 8th July, Lee Dong Wook explained that because of his cheerful personality, therefore he has profound friendships with the actresses. Especially Lee Da Hae and Eugene, they still keep in contact by sending text messages to one another.

When he met Lee Da Hae during the drama preview, he told her: “Your hair looks like a wig.” As for Eugene, she always want him to take her to the movies. Park Si Yeon will SMS him “I’m watching your TV drama now.”

Regarding the ‘Partners’ main actress Kim Hyun Joo , he explained that: “She is the best partner.”

Together with fashion brand skonokorea, they went through the International Aid Agency – World Vision and donated 22,000 pairs of shoes to the poorest country Swaziland in Africa. The value of the shoes is about 10 billion won and has scheduled to be send over in mid August.

The actors have been involved in this meaningful activity since last year 2008. As skonokorea had been participating and supporting the World Vision’s activities in Africa which made Lee Dong Wook and Kim Hyun Joo as the Africa skonokorea ambassadors.

The World Vision would be holding the donation ceremony this year August in Lesotho, Swaziland.

In the Korean TV series ‘Partners’ the youngest lawyer Kim Dong Wook imagine Honey Lee as a jazz singer from the old Beijing times who has a very attractive profile. ‘Partner’ TV drama director Kim Won Suk personally selected this song ‘I am fool to want you’ for Honey Lee. Honey Lee spent two weeks practicing and personally sang this song in the drama.

However the director has the script changed when he watched Honey Lee’s jazz singing performance last year May in ‘Yun Hee Jung and Friends Jazz Concert’ and was very satisfied with her performance.

Kim Hyun Joo starring as ‘Kang Eun Ho’ would be acting as a ‘Ajumma’, who only pass her judicial examination as a lawyer at a much older age. A brand new life had started for Eun Ho. As a lawyer, Eun Ho get to experience and empathy for her client’s pains and tears. she would fight the court cases for her clients regardless of the sum of money they would pay her. She hopes to bring those criminals to justice.

Lee Dong Wook on the other hand acts as ‘Lee Tae Jo’ who is a super talented but cold-hearted lawyer. There are some scenes in the drama that Lee Dong Wook needs to act as a passionate lawyer, and some scenes that he need to turn out to be very arrogant again. Therefore this drama put as a test on his acting skills.

Both of them worked in the same lawyer firm. They are assigned as partners, but clash due to opposing views and options. As Eun Ho is a more emotional lawyer, she tend to help to speak behalf of those who are victimized. Tae Jo on the other hand was just being ‘business’.

The drama uses the court as the stage to explore the true nature of humans and seeks to give realistic portrayal of the Korean legal system and courts. It also describes about how lawyers debated among themselves using their mouth as their weapons. ‘Partner’ is a 16 episode series that would be broadcast starting on 24th June, following the ending of ‘That Fool’.
