Sharing a passion for Korean drama and culture
According to the South Korea media reports, movies ‘The Host‘ has been selected by the Korean viewers as the most classic monster movie. This movie is directed by Bong Joon Ho and starring Song Kang Ho and Bae Doo Na.
A website was set up in Korea to allow viewers to vote for their best classic monster movie in mind. In this survey,’The Host‘ received 54% of the total vote and defeated strong opponents movies like ‘Jaws’ and ‘King Kong’. This survey was organized to meet with the new monster movie that will be showing in this July.
‘The Host‘ was released in 2006. The movie was filmed to believe that there are monsters living in the Han River.
It was a very fresh and new theme. With South Korea best CG technology effect, the movie hits a record of 13 million viewers and becoming the most popular South Korean film in the history. So far there are no other movies that are able to break its record.

The Host – 54%
Anaconda – 20%
Jaws – 17%
King Kong – 9%
