Sharing a passion for Korean drama and culture
FT stands for “Five Treasures”. In other words, FT Island stands for ‘Five Treasures Island’
They are coming to Singapore next month on 27th June for a showcase as requested by local fans despite the economy downturn. Ever since the Korean Pop Night Concert that was held late last year, there wasn’t any performance by Korean artistes here in Singapore.
Local entertainment company, Datzentertainment, invited Korean band, FT Island, here in Singapore to do a showcase due to the request of many fans.
According to the organizer, FT Island’s debut performance in Singapore will be held on 27th June at Dragonfly @ St James Powerstation at 3pm
Due to space limitations, the organizer will only be selling 800 tickets, priced at SGD$100 each. The organizer mentioned that they have already received several phone calls from local and overseas fans even though they have not put the tickets on sale yet. The tickets will only be on sale on 30th May.
When reporters asked why was FT Island invited to Singapore, the organizer explained that local fans have been looking for organizers to invite FT Island to Singapore. They are just answering to the fan’s requests the response they get was quite good.
It’s the first time that the organizer is inviting Korean artistes to Singapore for performance. If the response is good, they might consider inviting Wonder Girls, SS501, or even more Korean artistes to Singapore for performance.
