Goo Hye Sun has been selected as the Top Asian actress in the “2009 Yahoo! Asia Buzz Awards” in Taiwan. She will goes to Taiwan to accept this award on the 11th Dec 2009.

This is the 6th year Yahoo having this award. This award is based on Yahoo’s search statistics and selected the stars with the most search. With that, Goo Hye sun received the most search from the Taiwanese netizens and won the top in the “Asian Female Star” category.

Ever since Korean TV drama ‘Boys Before Flowers’ broadcast in Korea in January, Goo Hye Sun has received many attentions. A result of promotional activities on several occasions to visit to Taiwan and numerous interviews has also increased her popularity. As such, she was known as the successor of the female Hallyu star.

Goo Hye Sun will set off to Taiwan on the 10th Dec and attend the award ceremony held on the 11th Dec.
