According to the South Korea media reported, even though SS501 leader Kim Hyun Joong has been diagnosed with H1N1, he will still continues to serve as the South Korea airport ambassador.

On the 9th September, South Korea airport in charge expressed through an interview: “We heard about Kim Hyun Joong’s H1N1 infection, however this does not affect him or other members of SS501 to continue to serve as the South Korea airport publicity ambassador.”

SS501 was selected as the South Korea airport ambassador on the 13th July. At that time, the airport in charge said: “As a Korean star, SS501′s image suited the image of our airport. Therefore we chose SS501 as the publicity ambassadors.”

It was known that Kim Hyun Joong was diagnosed with H1N1 when he was preparing to return back to Korea after he has participated in the ‘Boys Before Flowers’ campaign in Japan. He was now having his treatment in the Tokyo hospital.
