Yoon Eun Hye returned to the TV screens after 2 years. After she ended her last MBC Korean TV drama ‘The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince’ in 2007, it has been a long break for her. She would re-started again in her in Korean TV drama ‘My Fair Lady’.

With her Korean TV drama ‘The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince’, She won the best acting award in the Baeksang Art Awards and her popularity increased. However since then, she did not involved in any special events, fans and performance arts sectors feel sorry and pity for that.

“10 months before I have already decided to take up this drama, but the production team has not finalized the choice of actors, therefore I have no choice but to take a short break. I like this drama, so the process of waiting was fun. I am looking forward to work with what kind of actors and directors in this drama. I have troubles with what kind of performance should I bring to my fans, but I too enjoy this process, in this way I almost rested for 2 years. Soon I will be meeting the audiences again, I felt a bit anxiety.”

Two years were a long period of rest. During this period, Yoon Eun Hye probably has rested fully and recharged. However she denied it.

“In this 2 years, I do not really have a good rest over the week, I became more busier compared to when I am acting. I set up my own performing arts company and I became the spokesperson of the designer clothing brand ‘Joinus’. Almost every week I have advertisements shooting. In addition, I have to carry out with the Korean promotional activities in a low profile.”

Yoon Eun Hye has great love for setting up her new company ‘The house company’. She carried out her performing idea and put them into practice. She held charities activities with the establishment of her company. She also personally designed the company’s logo and participated as a designer in ‘Joinus’ to design clothes for the fourth quarter.

As a Korean Star, Yoon Eun Hye has made good results through of her popular Korean TV drama ‘Goong’ and ‘The 1st shop of coffee prince’. She has been popular in Japan and China.

“I do not want to preach vigorously and always kept a low profile if possible. For the past two years, I have visited Japan, China and Taiwan for 6 to 7 times. I am very surprised that every visit caused a huge response. I do not know it is because of my drama ‘Goong’ or ‘The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince’ that I have showed out the neutral charm, I have a lot of female fans. Although it is said that it is more difficult for a female Korean star to get popular, but the repercussions were caused by the neutral charm.”

Back to work, What kind of role does Yoon Eun Hye plays in this Korean TV drama? She said she would plays a new role that are different from her previous drama roles.

“I play a role of an arrogant eldest daughter who lived a life like a princess in a palace-like house. It’s similar like Gu Jun Pyo in ‘Boys Before Flowers’. This new role is very different as my past drama roles are simple and lively. This topic is so interesting, that is why I choose to act in this drama. Although there is a worry that the image of such big changes would have a conflict with the audiences, but I intend to perform out the charm that Yoon Eun Hye has.”

She is now preparing to show out the gorgeous side of the eldest daughter in the family. Besides the clothing set, she was busy practicing her Rumba dance, in order to become the socialite.

“Is very tiring as there are a lot of things to learn. Rumba dance in particular used up a lot of my energy. I am physically weak therefore I’m quite worry about the summer filming.”

What, with the nickname ‘Hercules Girl’, Yoon Eun Hye is physically weak?

“In fact I am only good in wrestling because I am very good at the moment of outbreak of my energy but basically I am still relatively physically weak. My arms in particular have not much strength, so I have never win in any arm-wrestling game.”
