The event is host by Incheon state and sponsor by Incheon Tourism Organization, Incheon World Urban Festival, MBC, MBC ESPN and HH Company.

The Incheon Korean Music Wave 2009 will be held at the Incheon Literary Arena on this coming Saturday 22nd Aug at 7pm. Stars performing will be Rain, Super Junior, SNSD (Girls’ Generation), SS501, 2PM, F.T Island, Kara, MC Mong, Lee Min Woo, Lee Jung Hyun, Chae Yeon and so on.

In this coming event, there would be about 50,000 spectators to breathe together with the singers, it will definitely leave the spectators a memorable time of happiness.

‘Korean Incheon 2009 Concert’ would be shown on the MBC’s Show Music Center, fans who are not able to participate in the concert, can feel the atmosphere by watching it on TV.

Another event of Incheon Korean Wave Festival 2009 would be the ‘Incheon Korean Star Wave 2009′. It would start from Lee Min Woo’s Minnovation Tour concert. Follow by will be SS501′s signature session and schedule overseas fans meeting session.

Just last sat 15th August at 5pm was the Lee Min Woo’s Minnovation Tour in Incheon Song Do. Fans have an unforgettable memories with Lee Min Woo performing talk show and playing games. The previous day, Lee Min Woo held a ‘M autograph’ session in the Incheon City.

Incheon Korean Wave Festival 2009 gather a large number of top Korean star, not only the Korea would looking forward to this event, Asia has also focus on the activities held. Because of this, there are a lot of news media, radio and television media reporting about it. Therefore the effectiveness of the  publicity has became very exciting.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries has appointed Rain as the Hansik Ambassador. For the next coming year, Rain will be starring in the Hansik promotional videos and participate in the related major Hansik activities to help foreigners to learn and enjoy Korean food.

Rain expressed: “My favorite Korean food is Doekbokki. As a new publicity ambassador, I would strive hard to carry out the series of promotional activities.”

Minister Chang Tae Pyong said this while presenting Rain with a plaque and certificate at his office in Gacheon Government Complex: “I was very confident about Rain being the Hansik Ambassador. Even though Hansik is still a ‘New star’ on the world stage but as long as we put in the efforts, I believe that Hansik can become a ‘World star’ like Rain.

A ministry official said that by inviting Rain to assist in the globalization of Hansik shows that Korea is very serious about turning the food industry into its future growth engine.

Under Minister Chang’s leadership, Korea is pushing hard with a variety of related efforts from the standardization of Hansik dishes to the provision of incentives for big hotels to open up Hansik restaurants. In the ministry’s annual food expo in October, a competition is scheduled for new and aspiring chefs.

This morning while Rain was ready to exit from South Korea Incheon International Airport and flying to Macau for his fans meeting session, a reporter told him the news about Michael Jackson’s death. Rain could not conceal his expression of surprise and immediately call his friends to confirm the news. After verify from his friends, he expressed that the news was too sudden and he was not able to accept it. He cannot believe that this generation big star has left this world that loved him.

Rain also revealed that Michael Jackson is like his teacher to him and has influence him to be what he is today. Even now he has gone, he will always remain in people’s hearts and always be the King of Pop. Although the news bring great pains in his heart but he will always be his idol.
